By accessing and using Discountable® ("Service"), operated by Discountable® LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

Discountable provides a platform that enables users ("Recipients") to receive financial support from others ("Contributors") toward eligible purchases through private, structured support plans.

The primary method of using Discountable is reimbursement-based: students shop anywhere with their own card, submit a receipt, and receive funded support after verification. Depending on the plan, Discountable may also support in-app checkout, where available contributor funds are temporarily reserved for a limited time while the purchase is being completed.

3. Eligibility & Use

To receive funds, users must:

• Complete a qualifying purchase
• Submit accurate purchase details
• Upload a valid, legible receipt showing date and total

Discountable reserves the right to determine eligibility at its sole discretion.

4. Verification & Approval

All submissions are subject to verification. Discountable may:

• Approve or deny any submission
• Request additional documentation
• Flag or review transactions for potential fraud

Submission of a receipt does not guarantee reimbursement.

5. Payments, Reservations, and Payouts

Payments and payouts are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. In some checkout flows, Discountable may temporarily reserve available contributor funds before settlement is completed.

• Reserved funds are temporary and may expire or be released if checkout is not completed
• Payout timing may vary based on verification, settlement, and provider processing
• Delays may occur due to fraud review, payment failure, merchant transfer timing, or provider requirements
• Discountable is not responsible for delays caused by external providers

6. No Guarantee of Funds

Contributions and available funding are conditional and subject to:

• Coupon rules and eligibility limits
• Verification outcomes
• Checkout timing and reservation expiry
• Payment success or failure
• System limitations and fraud controls

Displayed or temporarily reserved funds are not guaranteed until the applicable transaction is successfully completed and settled.

7. Fraud & Misuse

Users may not:

• Submit altered, duplicate, or misleading receipts
• Misrepresent purchase details
• Attempt to exploit system logic

Violations may result in:

• Denial of reimbursement
• Account suspension or termination
• Forfeiture of funds

8. Modifications to Service

Discountable may modify features, including redemption methods, verification processes, and payout mechanisms at any time.

9. Payment Terms and Fees

9.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe. By using our Service, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

9.2 Platform Fees

• Contributors: No fees (charges reflect exact pledged percentage)
• Recipients: No fees charged by Discountable for submitting eligible reimbursement requests
• Merchants: Standard Stripe fees apply; platform fees may apply in future

9.3 Currency

All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).

10. Submission & Reimbursement Policy

• If a submission is rejected, users may resubmit corrected documentation.
• Approved amounts are final unless an error is identified.
• Discountable reserves the right to reverse payouts in cases of fraud or system error.

11. Privacy and Data Security

12. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Service to:

• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Abuse the payment system or attempt to manipulate charges
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Use support plans for non-educational or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to bypass security measures

13. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Discountable LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

14.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

14.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discountable LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Discountable LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
